Economic burden of Diabetes in India, for all practical purposes we can take out of 112 crore Indian population we have 10% diabetics say 10 cores if each has to tke Rs 500 worth medication per mounth it is 50,000 crores so per year is 60,000 crores ,if 30 % of then have complication they have to spend 3 or 4 times ie 3 crore have to spend 2000 ie 6000 crores per month extra on an avearge monthly 10,000 crores annually 1,20,000 crores.

If govt and all our people, policy makers think in a logical way we can prevent people becoming DIABETIC,simply preserving our TRADITIONAL WAY OF LIFE,not going 100% westernisation.
WE ALSO KNOW NEARLY 35% OF INDIANS are in the age group of 20 to 35 years, they spend atleast Rs 1000 per mounth for spoilng there health per month on unwanted ALCOHOL,JUNK FOOD,SEDENTARY HOBBIES which are all patronaged by our INDIAN GOVERNMENT at the cost of killing our good tradition. If WE ARE CORRUPTION FREE INDIA WE WILL BE DIABETES FREE INDIA.
